Mate Botica is a renowned expert in the field of electronic communications and has been a CEO of OIV since May 2016. In this role, he leads the company’s strategic initiatives in terrestrial and satellite broadcasting, electronic communication networks, multimedia services, as well as other professional and communication services.

Majoring in telecommunications from the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Transport Sciences, he holds the master’s degree in traffic engineering. He has further strengthened his expertise through continuous professional development in information and communication technologies and corporate management.

Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to the advancement of the sector through involvement in international and national professional associations such as The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), Broadcast Networks Europe (BNE), International Amateur Radio Union Region 1 (IARU), Croatian Radio Amateur Association (HRS) where he is also currently a president.

Under his leadership, OIV has made significant progress in achieving strategic business objectives, ensuring the company’s strong position on the market.
