Bram Tullemans is a senior expert and program manager of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) Technology & Innovation department. He leads technical and business programs in the domain of internet distribution. In this role he coordinates knowledge exchange on topics related to media convergence, TV-Platforms, CDNs and distribution architectures between specialists of Public Service Media organisations and the Industry. He represents the EBU in the steering committees of DVB and HbbTV.
Before the EBU, Bram worked as senior policy advisor research and development at the Dutch public service broadcast organisation NPO, was director/producer at the international publishing house IDG Communications, worked as journalist, wrote a book about digital video. His media career started in the ARTES Planetarium where he was, aside educating astronomy, involved in the 360-degrees projection technology.
He studied at the University of Amsterdam and Liverpool in the fields of Philosophy, Television & New Media and Computer Science.
