On 14 November 2019, the Electronic Media Council made the decision on selection of twenty applications which met the requisite formal criteria for temporary experimental digital radio broadcasting of a radio channel in DAB+ technology.

OIV summoned the selected broadcasters to sign contracts, and the broadcasting of their programming will commence as soon as possible.

The Council also extended the deadline for the expression of interest until sufficient programming is registered to fill the second multiplex.
